Inaaya Ahmed (10):

Hi everyone! It’s Inaaya again—and I am excited to run for another year of presidency.

My values remain the same: Communication, hard work, and approachability. Communication is a key skill needed for presidency—we are the “voice of the class”, after all—and it is our job to relay information to and from the student body. This year, I took in lots of advice, answered lots of questions, and relayed lots of suggestions—and I will continue to do so in a second term.

I have been very passionate about my role as Sophomore President this year, and I will continue to bring this into our Junior year. Whether through spending hours working on our floats or representing our class, I will continue to take my position seriously and enthusiastically.

Of course, no one is ever perfect; just as this year, I will continue to take all feedback in order to be the best junior president possible! This past year of presidency has taught me a lot, and I fully plan to bring all of that experience with me for an even more successful year.

Finally, I will continue to be approachable- if you ever want to say anything to me (be it SEC related or not!) I am always available and willing to help.

In summary: If you’d like to continue our success as an absolutely epic class and have a responsible, diligent & approachable president: vote for yours truly—Inaaya Ahmed.

Thank you so much, and have a great day! :DD

I’m not the best at being formal, speech and text included – and it really shows. To the job interviews I’ve flopped because when shaking their hand with my sweaty palm I said “How ya doin man” unconsciously, to even plummeting my english grade due to an myriad of spelling errors like “tommorow” instead of “tomorrow”. (I’m still fluent though I promise). Despite this I’ll still go for and do my best. After 72 job applications 5 interviews and 70 rejections I got my first official job at 15 and I am in the process of training for my second one. Even with my English grade in a dumpster fire I got it back up by learning how to spell “tomorrow” correctly. My same hard work applies to qualifying for an International business competition, maintaining 2 internships and most importantly my human relationships. I know that I am a perfect fit to lead the junior class and even if there is doubt to that statement, I will 100% learn how to be, even if I need to be formal.

Hey Class of 2027! I’m Nathan Yoon, and I am running to be your Junior Class President. As your Class President, I want to strengthen our community and communications during what’s often a stressful year. As you focus on academics during the upcoming year, I am dedicated to organizing events that lift our class spirit, deepen friendships, and make meaningful memories, like winning Homecoming and flying our class flag. I was honored to represent you at SEC as your Freshman Class President and served as the elected Secretary for the Palo Alto Teen Advisory Board this past year. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to create fun and memorable events and the skills that it takes to lead and, most importantly, serve YOU. But what do WE as a class want from our Junior year? I’m committed to hearing your voice and working with you to shape our school events and our high school experience. Feel free to send me a text or have a chat with me, and I’m always open to getting feedback on events that you did or didn’t enjoy or your ideas for new ones. I will always remember that I am serving to represent you. Class of 2027, let’s not just survive our Junior year – let’s thrive. Let’s make our Junior year, the best year yet. “Join the Yoonion” and vote Nathan Yoon for Junior Class President!
