Maya Perkash: Junior Class Vice President

Hi Titans! I’m Maya, and I’m running to be your Junior Class VP! This past year, I was on SEC as Sophomore VP, and I absolutely loved working with other students to plan events. Building community has always been my first priority, which is why I made it my goal to create memorable experiences and involve as many people as possible. Some of the projects I worked on were: Homecoming week, Club Fairs, dances, Cozy Snowmance & Love Week, Class Council, merch offerings and movie night (coming soon). Next year, I want to take everything I learned this year to make events even more student designed based on your feedback and ideas. I also want to build off the excitement from this year’s hoco to increase spirit, raise participation, and foster class bonding. For the rest of the year, I want to continue my efforts in creating more events that showcase students and connect our class with the Gunn community as a whole. Most of all, my favorite part of SEC this year was getting to meet and learn more about our class coming back from remote learning, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
