Kaylee Wong: Senior Class Vice President
Hi! I’m Kaylee, and I’m running to be your Senior Class Vice President! It seems crazy, but next year is our last year in high school. I’ve met so many amazing people here at Gunn, and I’ve had such a great time. I want to make our senior year really one for the books. This year, I’ve noticed that with the exception of Homecoming and Love Week, no other school events have been very well publicized. For example, a good portion of my classmates had no idea Spring Spirit Week was even going on. I have also noticed that for spirit weeks, without competition or other incentivizing elements, there is less excitement and participation. I plan to help the Senior Class President as an extra pair of hands and find ways to make events more fun for you all. I am a good candidate for this position because of my leadership experience and my communication and organizational skills. I am currently Vice President of Key Club, which means I help our Presidents with presentations and communication with other members of our board, answer emails, and plan service events. I have also been a part of a mock government program for several years, where I have held multiple leadership positions that have taught me not only leadership, but effective communication. As Senior Class Vice President, I will use all these skills for your benefit, and make sure that next year is absolutely unforgettable.
