Hey y’all, it’s your friendly neighborhood Asian. I’m a current junior running for Student Body Vice President. I’m on the basketball team (the team that beat Paly), an officer of several clubs, and lead numerous nonprofit projects, so my leadership skills … exist at least. The clubs at Gunn are pretty good, but I think better clubs correlate with more school clout. So, what will I do you ask? Well … you shall receive: I want to establish a better line of communication between the student body and the SEC, which will improve club quality at Gunn. Another major problem is the lack of the snack line. It used to exist, and the cookies were loved and praised by the student body. But this unalienable right of cookies has been cruelly stripped away from all of us. Together, we join forces and bring back the snack line with a snap of a finger – the return of the snack line is inevitable. I may be an Asian disappointment, but “if you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed” (MJ). By electing me as your Student Body Vice President, we will be able to improve our social and school life making Gunn High School a phenomenal place for all of us.
