About

Who We Are

The Oracle is a newspaper publication produced by and for the students of Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto, California. The newspaper publishes eight issues annually.

Our Vision

As Gunn’s official news publication, we will serve the Palo Alto community through timely and accurate reporting, maintaining the highest standards of journalistic ethics. Working collaboratively while playing to our individual strengths, we promise unwavering relevance, diligence, nuance and transparency in our coverage. We will strive to keep those in power accountable and offer a platform for underrepresented voices on campus. Through improving our journalism and expanding its reach, we will empower community members to make informed decisions.
