Laura Cheunkarndee: Junior Class Vice President

Hi, Class of ‘25! I’m Laura Cheunkarndee and I’m so excited to be running for your Junior Class VP. I have loved serving on student council for 5+ years and being on SEC as Special Events Commissioner this year. Through planning and executing events such as Homecoming and Spring Spirit week, as well as leading and choreographing airbands, I’ve been so impressed by the collaborative energy and spirit of our class and look forward to supporting you again during Junior year. As an active member of multiple groups across campus, from Gunn’s dance team to musical productions to the Gunn orchestra, I want to use my platform to ensure that YOUR VOICES are heard and to instill a safe and inclusive environment in our class. Whether it is about securing matching green bandanas for airbands participants during Homecoming, recruiting people in the middle of the night for games, grabbing pizza and treats for our class events, or just listening to concerns, I’m always down to do anything for my class. I am organized, responsible, and collaborative, and have the experience and tenacity needed to serve as your vice president. So, for a swag Junior year, remember to vote Laura C for VP!
