Ruth Jaquette: Student Body President

Hi! I’m Ruth Jaquette and I’m running to be your ASB President next year. I’m currently serving as Junior Special Events Commissioner, meaning that I help plan most of the school-wide events at Gunn. Through my three years on SEC, I have learned a lot about how student council operates—along with its influence on the Gunn community. This year, I worked to increase club involvement in our traditional events, and I hope to continue this effort to bring more exposure to our numerous clubs at Gunn. I strongly believe that student feedback is the most valuable resource available to SEC, and, as President, I will always be open to input from students and work to improve communication between the student body and SEC.
